The present invention relates to a flexible liquid crystal display device and, in particular, to a flexible liquid crystal display device including a nanocapsule liquid crystal layer having improved light leakage and process efficiency. According to the present invention, a flexible liquid crystal display device including a nanocapsule liquid crystal layer is provided, thereby enhancing the response time and preventing the occurrence of light leakage even though an external force is imposed. In addition, an alignment film process, a rubbing process, a gap forming process, a seal pattern forming process can be omitted, thereby improving process efficiency. Furthermore, the liquid crystal display device of the present invention can be applied to a touch-type display device, a curved display device and a flexible display device. In particular, since one of polarizing plates can be eliminated to reduce the overall thickness of a liquid crystal panel, a lightweight and thin display device can be provided and also be utilized as a flexible display device having flexible characteristics. |
