An aspect of the present invention provides a method for manufacturing a light emitting device. The method comprises the steps of: preparing a light emitting device for emitting excitation light, and a substrate having the light emitting device installed thereon; emitting visible light by absorbing the excitation light emitted to the light emitting device, and preparing a fluoride fluorescent body displayed as chemical formula (1); and forming the fluoride fluorescent body in at least one of the light emitting device and the substrate, wherein the step of preparing the fluoride fluorescent body displayed as formula (1) comprises the steps of: preparing a first aqueous solution including at least one of K_2MnF_6 and Na_2MnF_6; forming a first sediment using the first aqueous solution, a first source material containing atom M, and a second source material containing atom A; cleaning the first sediment with a hydrofluoric acid aqueous solution of at least 40wt%; and drying the first cleaned sediment. Formula (1): A_xMF_y:Mn^4+ (2<= x <= 3 and 4 <= y <= 7 are satisfied, the atom A is at least one kind selected from a group comprising Li, Na, K, Rb and Cs, and the atom M is at least one kind selected from a group comprising Si, Ti, Zr, Hf, Ge and Sn.)
