PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dermatological treatment equipment that emits sufficient optical radiation to promote the achievement of a desired beauty effect in a skin area, and protects a skin surface in the skin area from unnecessary heat generated when the equipment is operated.SOLUTION: Dermatological treatment equipment 100 includes: at least one flash lamp 112 that can pulse and emit sufficient light energy to promote the achievement of a desired beauty effect in a skin area; and a window equipped with a first pane and a second pane with a sealed space in between. The first pane is made of an optically transparent material containing a hydroxyl component to contact a skin surface of the skin area, the hydroxyl component being more than 0 ppm and equal to or less than about 5 ppm. The second pane is made of an optically transparent material that absorbs at least part of the infrared radiation of over 2,000 nanometers of the flash lamp. The window heat-insulates the skin surface from at least part of the heat generated when the equipment is operated. |
