PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone resin composition capable of forming a resin cured product which has light permeability suitable for a sealing material for an optical device and does not pass a sulfide gas.SOLUTION: There is provided a silicone resin composition comprises (A) an organosiloxane having two or more alkenyl groups bonded to a silicon atom in one molecule, (B) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having two or more hydrogen atoms bonded to a silicon atom in one molecule, (C) a compound represented by the formula (1) and (D) a reaction catalyst.
