PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the maximum power.SOLUTION: A power conversion apparatus comprises: a current sensor for detecting a current (output current) output from a drive circuit to a DC power supply; a voltage sensor for detecting a voltage (output voltage) output from the drive circuit to the DC power supply; and a drive circuit control part for calculating an output power obtained by multiplication of the output current and the output current, and changing at least one of rising timing, falling timing and a current target value which are an attribute value of a current in an exciting current in a positive or negative direction while checking the output power, and when the calculated last output power falls to below the previously calculated output power, changing the attribute value of the current by switching the changing direction from that of the previous change, and when the last output power exceeds the previously calculated output power, changing the attribute value of the current in the direction the same with that of the previous change. |
