PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the scale of a circuit, such as an arithmetic circuit or memory used for image quality adjustment while maintaining the arithmetic accuracy, even when a video information display device has a plurality of stages of image quality adjustment circuits (12, 16).SOLUTION: A video information display device calculates characteristic data with a control unit (18) to enable the update of the characteristics of a second image quality adjustment unit (16) and writes the calculated characteristic data in conversion tables (161r, 161g, and 161b) in the second image quality adjustment unit (16). The control unit (18) compresses and transmits the characteristic data, and the second image quality adjustment unit (16) restores the compressed data and writes the restored data in the conversion tables (161r, 161g, and 161b). |
