In the present invention, an input and output operation device is provided with an actuator (165) comprising: an operation section (850); a movable unit that is equipped with the operation section and at least one attracting magnet and has a recess in one section; a fixed unit that has at least one magnetic body and a convex spherical surface to which the recess of the movable unit is freely fitted, the recess of the movable unit and the convex spherical surface having point- or line-contact due to the magnetic attractive force, and the fixed unit rotatably supporting the movable unit about the spherical center of the convex spherical surface; a first drive section for rotating the operation section about an X-axis passing through the spherical center; a second drive section for rotating the operation section about a Y-axis orthogonal to the X-axis; a third drive section for rotating the movable unit about a Z-axis that is orthogonal to the X-axis and Y-axis and is the central axis of the operation section; and a detector for detecting a first angle of rotation of the operation section about the X-axis and a second angle of rotation about the Y-axis. The input and output operation device is also provided with a detection circuit section (360) for generating a first and second rotation angle signal, a control computation processing section (94) for generating a first and second target rotation angle signal, and a drive circuit section (350) for generating a signal for driving the first and second drive sections.
