PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which brings high reliability under a high-temperature, and exhibits superior charge and discharge rate characteristics as a result of the reduction in resistance; and a power-storage circuit arranged by use of such a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode including a positive electrode collector and a positive electrode active material layer formed on the positive electrode collector; a negative electrode including a negative electrode collector and a negative electrode active material layer formed on the negative electrode collector; a separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; a nonaqueous electrolyte; and an outer package material in which the positive and negative electrodes, the separator and the nonaqueous electrolyte are enclosed. The positive electrode active material layer includes a lithium transition metal oxide of a lamellar crystalline structure. The negative electrode active material layer includes a lithium titanium oxide having a spinel type crystalline structure, of which the thickness is 20.0-33.4 μm. The ratio of the thickness of the positive electrode active material layer to the thickness of the negative electrode active material layer satisfies a requirement given by the following expression (1): 0.59≤(Positive electrode active material layer thickness/Negative electrode active material layer thickness)≤1.50 (1). |
