The present invention relates to a halogen-based flame-retardant glass fiber-reinforced polyamide resin composition, and a method for preparing the same. The present invention has an effect of providing a halogen-based flame-retardant glass fiber-reinforced polyamide resin composition having flame retardancy and appearance required for use in electric and electronic components by incorporating a styrene-maleimide based copolymer having a high temperature thermal degradability into the halogen-based flame-retardant glass fiber-reinforced polyamide resin composition, and a method for preparing the same.
