The present invention relates to a cutting insert for an indexable drill. A cutting insert for an indexable drill according to the present invention can be used for external cutting or internal cutting depending on the installed position and direction thereof, even when provided as a single type of insert. Also, the cutting insert for an indexable drill according to the present invention has regions, in the internal cutting edges, that are involved in a cutting process and those that are not involved in a cutting process which are clearly distinguished from each other, thus the cutting insert can be rotated and mounted and flipped and mounted on a drill body. Thus, up to eight corners can be used in a cutting process.
