Provided are a switching device using the switching technology and a packet loss method therefor, which relate to the field of Internet. The switching device comprises a plurality of functional units and a plurality of ports, wherein the ports are used to input messages to the functional units or receive and forward the messages from the functional units. The switching device also comprises a lost-message collecting and processing unit, wherein the lost-message collecting and processing unit comprises a collection module which is used to collect messages lost by each functional unit and each port. |
