<p>The present invention relates to an optical module made of a chalcogenide material, which has improved adhesion between the coating material and the chalcogenide material in coating an infrared optical system made of chalcogenide material. More specifically, a) depositing a carbon family element (group element 14, carbon group) or a compound of carbon family elements and b) depositing Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) thin film are performed on the surface of an infrared lens of chalcogenide material, which is formed by molding (injection molding).
