PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition that excels in compounding property upon preparing the adhesive composition, and particularly excels in thread removal strength and water resistance when used as a backing material for manufacturing textile products such as carpets and artificial turf having backings to prevent dropping of piles implanted in a base fabric. ! SOLUTION: The adhesive composition contains 5 to 100 pts.wt. (in terms of a solid content) of a synthetic rubber latex in 100 pts.wt. of a polyolefin powder, in which the center particle diameter of the polyolefin powder is 150 μm or less.
