A secure communication method, the method comprising: step 1: power on a card reader, determine the system operating mode, and if same is an Apple mode, then enter the Apple device authentication process and execute step 2; if the mode is a USB mode, then execute step 2; step 2: wait to receive a command, determine the first preset byte of the command, and if same is a first preset value, then execute corresponding operations; if same is a second preset value, then on the basis of an initial encryption key, key sequence number, and algorithm corresponding to the algorithm identifier, decrypt the command, send the decrypted command to the card, and execute step 3; step 3: when data returned by the card is received, update the key sequence number, and using the algorithm corresponding to the algorithm identifier, the initial encryption key, and the updated key sequence number, encrypt the data returned by the card; and on the basis of the system operating mode and by means of the corresponding port, send the data returned by the card to the upper computer. On the basis of the present invention, once a card reader and upper computer have negotiated and updated a key, the updated key is used to encrypt or decrypt data; data communication security is thus improved. |
