<p>Disclosed are a method for judging whether an access point is connectable, a station and an access point, relating to the technical field of communications. The method comprises: receiving, by a station, a first indication message sent from an access point, wherein the first indication message contains information about the number of stations currently connected to the access point and a maximum number of connecting stations that the access point allows; or the indication message contains first information, the first information indicating whether the number of stations currently connected to the access point is equal to the maximum connection number; and judging, by the station, that the access point is a connectable access point when determining that the number of stations currently connected to the access point is less than the maximum number of connecting stations that the access point allows according to the first indication message. The present invention effectively avoids a station from unnecessarily trying to connect an access point which is not connectable due to having arrived at an upper limit of user connection, thereby improving the connection efficiency.</p> |
