<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail fracture detection device that has reduced cost. <P>SOLUTION: In the rail fracture detection device 1, a transmission switching unit 2 sequentially switches signal input points s1 to sn connecting to a signal generating unit 3 based on the control of a switch control unit 7. A reception switching unit 5 appropriately switches signal output points r11 to rn2 connecting to a fracture detecting unit 6 in accordance with switching of the signal input points s1 to sn by the transmission switching unit 2, thereby, the number of signal input points s1 to sn and of signal output points r11 to rn2 simultaneously connected can be minimized. This reduces electric loads simultaneously connected to a track circuit R as well as reduces a loss of detection signal D transmitted by the signal generating unit 3. Thereby, a control length (detectable length) can be increased, which reduces the number of devices necessary to monitor a fracture of rails in a train track of a predetermined length and reduces the facility cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
