<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire that improves durability by using a polyester cord with improved heat-resistant adhesion to rubber as a reinforcing material. <P>SOLUTION: A rubber-cord composite comprising the polyester cord and the rubber is used as the reinforcing material. The polyester cord is constituted by treating polyester filaments with an adhesive after twisting the polyester filaments together. The polyester filaments are formed of polyester fibers which include polyester having ethylene terephthalate as main repeating units and having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.85 or higher, in which the amount of terminated carboxy groups in the fiber is 20 eq/ton or larger, in which the long period according to small-angle X-ray diffraction is in a range of 9-12 nm, and in which a surface treatment agent comprising an epoxy group adheres to a fiber surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
