The present invention relates to an apparatus for drying food materials comprising: a first frame; a plurality of second frames stacked in multiple stages in the vertical direction of the first frame and arranged to be lifted; a lifting drive unit arranged on one side of the first frame, coupled to one side of the second frame arranged at the most top of the first frame among the second frames to let each of the second frames get away from each other or approach each other while reciprocating in the vertical direction of the first frame, and lifting and lowering all of the second frames integrally in a reciprocative manner; and a side support unit elastically supporting edges of both sides of a drying tray providing an area on which the food materials to be dried are seated and moving and supporting the drying tray from one sides of the second frames to be capable of being stored or being withdrawn, thereby providing convenience in storing and withdrawing the drying tray.
