The present invention relates to a vaccine composition for streptococcus pneumoniae containing membrane vesicles derived from the streptococcus pneumoniae and, more specifically, uses membrane vesicles derived from non-pathogenic streptococcus pneumoniae as a vaccine immunogen, thereby inducing immunization against infection of pathogenic streptococcus pneumoniae and a disease therefrom, so the present invention may valuably use the membrane vesicles as a non-pathogenic nontoxic vaccine which can prevent and treat infections of the pathogenic streptococcus pneumoniae.
