<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a thermal shield coating having a ceramic layer that can form a smooth surface with high erosion resistance, while securing an excellent thermal shield performance. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the thermal shield coating includes processes of: forming a metal bonding layer 12 on a heat resistant base 11; and forming the ceramic layer 13 on the metal bonding layer 12. The process of forming the ceramic layer 13 has steps of: forming a high porous layer 14 including pores by thermal spray coating on the metal bonding layer 12; forming a dense layer 15 having a more dense structure than the high porous layer 14, on the high porous layer 14; and polishing the top surface of the dense layer 15 such that the dense layer 15 becomes a predetermined thickness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
