<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize an adverse effect on a recording image, the adverse effect being caused by different depths of penetration of inks to a recording medium when images are recorded using several kinds of inks, and to achieve image recording with high quality. <P>SOLUTION: When images are recorded using a plurality of inks having different penetration depths with respect to the recording medium, the ink having deeper penetration is preferentially applied on an earlier timing.
