Packaged rfid passive tag for small sized devices

The present application is related to a unique transponder clip (100, 302) comprising a UHF passive RFID tag, an encapsulation module (200) and method of attaching the encapsulation module (200) enclosing the transponder clip (100, 302) to small sized devices. In an aspect, the small sized device may be a small sized medical device such as bone screw, spine screw implants. The transponder is enclosed in the encapsulation module (200) that is then attached to a small sized device thereby facilitating auto-identification and tracking of the small sized device.
