<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine for enhancing interest in a game by providing positive amusement for prompting entry of game balls even during performing of a plurality of variation cycles in one pattern variation game. <P>SOLUTION: A main control CPU performs the plurality of variation cycles with variation start of a symbol as one time in the one symbol variation game, and determines a special variation pattern suggesting an a degree of expectation toward a jackpot, where the symbol variation game results in a jackpot depending on the number of variation cycles performed during the one symbol variation game.
