<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system allowing a user to perform novel operation by using an input device used while holding with hands, and to provide a program used in the system. <P>SOLUTION: A game system includes image acquisition means, direction calculation means, moving means, and display control means. The image acquisition means acquires an image picked up by an imaging device. The direction calculation means calculates a direction uniquely determined from an image to be picked up contained in the acquired image. The moving means moves an object to be operated, in a predetermined direction depending on a calculated direction.
