Method and device for transferring container decorations

The device has cyclically-operated holding units (F) movable around a transfer axis (X) of a transfer station (T) in a circumferential direction. The holding units receive decorations (A) from a feeder (Z) by the movement around the axis and transfer the decorations to a delivery position (8) by the transfer station. The holding units are movable relative to each other, and stationary drive motors (M1, M2) are arranged in the transfer station for moving the holding units in the circumferential direction, where the motors are designed as electrical servo motors i.e. torque-motors. An independent claim is also included for a method for transferring decorations.
