<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion compensation frame generation device which can improve a moving image blur and can remarkably improve motion compensation quality. <P>SOLUTION: A motion vector detection section 12 detects a motion vector MV and outputs a block matching error value BME. A whole scroll determination section 13a generates a whole scroll degree DS and a whole scroll motion vector SMV. A reliability generation section 14 generates reliability data DR1 showing reliability of the motion vector MV on the basis of the block matching error value BME. A reliability adjustment section 15 adjusts the reliability data DR1 and outputs adjustment reliability data DR2. A vector matching determination section 17 determines matching of the motion vector MV and the whole scroll motion vector SMV. An interpolation pixel generation section 16 generates respective interpolation pixels Px constituting a motion compensation frame on the basis of one of the reliability data DR1 and the adjustment reliability data DR2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
