<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector assembly capable of achieving optical connector connection. <P>SOLUTION: An optical connector assembly C10 capable of being installed in a narrow space includes an optical sub assembly 12, a holder 44 for holding the optical sub assembly, and a connector housing 42 at its tip side. The optical sub assembly includes a sleeve 12s. The sleeve is a cylindrical shape extending in a first direction to accommodate a ferrule attached at the tip of an optical fiber in the inner hole. The sleeve has a built-in stub holding the optical fiber.
