An animal training system (10) for controlling the behavior of the animal includes a receiver (14) configured to be worn by the animal, and a hand held transmitter (12). The hand held transmitter includes a case (18) with an front face (20), a transmitter circuit (22) within the case for transmitting a wireless signal to the receiver, and an actuator (24) at the front face of the case. The actuator is coupled with the transmitter circuit, and is a non-depressible actuator which is manually movable relative to the case. |
