<p>Disclosed is a transmission device, in particular a transmission, said transmission device comprising a central housing part (14) which accommodates a bearing (12, 16) of an output shaft (11) and a bearing (5, 15) of an input shaft (4) and which has a two-piece design. A first piece, especially the bottom piece, has cooling ribs (30, 31) that are arranged on the outer wall of an oil receptacle located in the first piece and/or on a subarea of an outer wall, i.e. especially a bearing pot, which acts as a bearing seat for a bearing (12), in particular a grease-lubricated bearing (12), of the output shaft (11) of the transmission device.
