A radiator 2 including a body 3, wherein at least one cartridge (fig.2c 8) is locatable with the body to form the radiator, said cartridge including a housing and at least one heating element (fig.2c 10) located inside the same. The cartridge and /or radiator body may include an engagement formation whereby the cartridge means is engaged with and/or attached to the radiator body. The engagement formation may be movable from a storage position to an engagement position to retain the cartridge in the radiator body. The heating element may be electric. The cartridge may include a heat transfer medium disposed between the heating element and the inside surface of the cartridge housing. A plurality of cartridges may be located within the same radiator. The radiator body may be provided with a control means 6 to allow the user control of the heating level. |
