A thermal massage armchair or chairbed comprises composite heating components that include tourmaline and other minerals. The composite components can provide massage, deep heat and far infrared therapy. The tourmaline may for a principal part of the massage rollers and can form part of the cushioning. The chair is flexible and can be reclined to adopt a zero gravity position or be completely horizontal. The massage rollers may include spinal massage rollers 3 for the back, cervical rollers 2 for the neck, and foot rollers 3, 4 for the calves and soles of the feet. A hand-held projector/massager 1 that also contains tourmaline stone might be provided, and can be powered by the chair and stored on the armrests.
