<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die set for forming a cutout of a container with a flange, which can form a cutout extending from a flange part to a body part without crushing the flange part extending in the direction crossing the body part of the container. <P>SOLUTION: The die set for forming the cutout is used for punching out the cutout which continues from the body part of the container to the end portion of the flange. A flange support part is provided with a flange cutting edge on the side of the die extending continuously from a body part cutting edge on the side of the die in the moving direction of a punch. The punch is provided with a body part cutting edge on the side of the punch for cutting the body part together with the body part cutting edge on the side of the die, and a flange cutting edge on the side of the punch contiguous with the body part cutting edge on the side of the punch, for cutting the flange part together with the flange cutting edge on the side of the die. The flange cutting edge on the side of the punch is inclined backwardly toward the punch so as to come into contact with the flange obliquely relative to the extending direction of the flange. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
