<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight and compact screw compressor capable of supplying a fluid across a casing internal space and further to another internal space formed inside thereof.SOLUTION: In a screw compressor 1 in which a pair of male and female screw rotors are rotatably accommodated in a compression chamber 3 formed in a casing 2, the casing 2 has an internal partition 16 defining bearing spaces 11, 12, and an outer wall 15 defining a suction space 6 disposed outside of the bearing spaces, and includes a communication pipe member 21 being extended in the suction space 6 while penetrating through the outer wall 15, inserted to the internal partition 16 at its tip, and communicating the bearing spaces 11, 12 with a flow channel outside of the outer wall 15. Sealing devices 17-20 respectively disposed between the internal partition 16 and shafts of the screw rotors, and partitioning the compression chamber 3 and the bearing spaces 11, 12, configure a mechanical seal for preventing leakage of a compressed gas from the compression chamber 3 by supplying a liquid to a seal face through the communication pipe member 21.</p> |
