<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a changeover between a normal operation state where a gas refrigerant (working fluid) is subjected to multistage compression by all compression mechanism portions and a cylinder cut-off operation state where parts of the compression mechanism portions are cut off without causing pressure loss, in a rotary compressor having the plurality of serially-connected compression mechanism portions. <P>SOLUTION: This rotary compressor includes: a first pressure introduction pipe 33 for introducing discharge-side pressure of the final-stage compression mechanism portion 9b into a blade back chamber 17b; a second pressure introduction pipe 34 for introducing suction-side pressure of the other compression mechanism portion 9a into the blade back chamber 17b; and an introduction pressure changeover portion 35 capable of changing over a first changeover position for performing introduction of pressure into the blade back chamber 17b through the first pressure introduction pipe 33 to a second changeover position for performing the introduction through the second pressure introduction pipe 34 and vice versa. When the discharge-side pressure is introduced into the blade back chamber 17b, a blade 18b is made to abut on the outer peripheral surface of a roller 13b, and when the suction-side pressure is introduced into the blade back chamber 17b, the blade 18b is separated from the outer peripheral surface of the roller 13b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
