<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately absorb an impact load while achieving high capacity of an energy container, the lower floor of a vehicle body, and lighter weight of the vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle body structure includes: right and left floor extensions 27 and 27 biased from the rear ends 22a and 22a of right and left front side frames 22 and 22 along the lower surface 21a of a dashboard lower 21to a tunnel 25 side; and a front tunnel cross member 57 stretched over the right and left floor extensions 27 and 27 and extending along the lower surface 25b of the tunnel 25 near the joined part 102 of the dashboard lower 21 and the floor panel 24 in a vehicle width direction. The floor panel 24 is divided into a front floor panel 45 having foot rests 43 and 44 bulging in the lower part of the vehicle body 11 and arranged at the right and left of the tunnel 25, and a rear floor panel 46 disposed in the vehicle body rear part of the front floor panel 45.
