<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent cool air from leaking from a display chamber and improve cooling performance by properly forming a cool air curtain across an opening of the display chamber. <P>SOLUTION: The open showcase 1 in which a cool air curtain is formed across the front opening 12 of the display chamber 8, includes: a bottom plate 10 of the display chamber 8; a duct 9 provided between the bottom plate and a heat insulating wall 3 and communicating with a suction port 16; and a suction port cover 18 located in front of the bottom plate 10, and for covering the suction port 16. The open showcase 1 is configured such that the suction port cover 18 stands upward from the lower edge 12A of an opening of the heat insulating wall, a plurality of vent holes 20A are provided in the upper wall 18A, and the bottom plate 10 closes the bottom surface of the display chamber 8 behind the suction port cover 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
