<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of repairing a supercharger that can reduce an operation cost by reducing the frequency of the exchange of a rotor shaft in a supercharger due to the wear. <P>SOLUTION: After calculating the difference of the inside diameter of radial bearings 7a, 7b from the outside diameter of journal parts 5a, 5b of the supercharger 10, a plurality of radial bearings for exchange, each having an inside diameter smaller than that of the radial bearings 7a, 7b and different from each other, are prepared. When the journal parts 5a, 5b is worn due to the use of the supercharger 10, the outside diameter of the journal parts 5a, 5b after the wear is measured and the radial bearing for exchange, which has the inside diameter smaller than total value of the outside diameter of the journal parts 5a, 5b after the wear and the previously calculated difference and nearest to the total value, is selected. The journal parts 5a, 5b after the wear is polished so that the total value of the outside diameter of the journal parts 5a, 5b after the wear and the previously calculated difference becomes equal to the inside diameter of the radial bearing for exchange and the radial bearings 7a, 7b are changed to the radial bearings 7c, 7d for exchange. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
