<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To intuitively recognize whether a shift position of a shift member is appropriate or not and to avoid inconsistency between a shift position of the shift member and the shift position of a vehicle while constraining an increase in cost. <P>SOLUTION: A shift lever control section 70 of the shift device 10 identifies whether the shift position of a shift lever 20 is appropriate or not. In case it is identified that the position is appropriate a solenoid for D position 44 or a solenoid for R position 48 holds the shift lever 20 hence the shift position of the shift lever 20 can be recognized instinctively that it is appropriate. Then, when it is identified that the position is not appropriate, the shift position of a transmission 74 is transferred to an appropriate shift position and the shift lever 20 is returned to an H position. Hence the shift lever 20 needs not to be guided to an arbitrary shift position, thus the inconsistency between the shift position of the shift lever 20 and the shift position of the transmission 74 can be avoided while constraining an increase in cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
