<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately check the diameter of an ink dot in a print result visually. <P>SOLUTION: The ink jet printer includes an ink jet head, and a control unit which controls the ink jet head to print a test pattern. The test pattern has a white line patterning part 102 where a certain area is filled with ink excepting a white line part which is formed by not ejecting ink. The white line patterning part 102 has, as the white line part, a plurality of single dot white lines 202 in the Y direction which are a plurality of first white lines in the first direction elongating, respectively, in the first direction, i.e. the Y direction, with a width of at least one dot, and a plurality of single dot white lines 212 in the X direction which are a plurality of first white lines in the second direction elongating, respectively, in the second direction, i.e. the X direction, with a width of at least one dot. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
