[Class 83 (iv)] Magnesium and its alloys are rolled whilst coated with a layer that protects the oxide skin from damage and hinders oxidation during annealing and storage. Examples of suitable substances are tar fat oils, tars, carbolineum, anthracene-oil and heavy oils.
