<p>An applicator handpiece for laser-induced suture of biological tissues wherein the transmission of the laser radiation on the surface to be irradiated is achieved by means of optical fibres (3, 4, 5) comprising a handle (1) which has a terminal section (2) in biocompatible material with at least one face thereof transparent to the laser radiation and adapted to be in contact with said surface. The three emitting ends (3a, 4a, 5a) of a plurality of optical fibres (3, 4, 5) are arranged within the terminal section, at a distance between the emitting ends and the surface to be irradiated which remains constant during the suture operations.</p> |
