The present invention relates to a radar system for a vehicle which increases detection and trace reliability of a target by blocking a false signal flowing from the ground or a high place without vehicles, and a method for measuring azimuth of the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the system for blocking a false signal flowing from the ground or a high place includes: two or more main receiving antennas; a sidelobe preventing antenna; and a radar which compares a main receiving signal received from the main receiving antennas and a sidelobe signal received from the sidelobe preventing antenna in size, and extracts azimuth for a target by using the received main receiving signal if the main receiving signal is bigger than the sidelobe signal. |
