<p>A cooling system 10 cooling at least one braking device 12 of a vehicle, the cooling system 10 comprising: at least one intake pipe 26 guiding air to an internal combustion engine 16 of the vehicle; at least one compressor 36 arranged in the intake pipe 26; at least one cooling device 48 to cool the compressed air; and at least one duct element 50 configured to guide the compressed air to the braking device 12 to cool the vehicle brakes 12. The brake device 12, may be a brake drum 14 and may have an air outlet 68 with a filter 70 therein. A nozzle 72 may taper in the direction of the airflow. First and second valves 58 & 62 may adjust the airflow.</p> |
