<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device and a communication method that can synchronize even if a synchronous signal collides. <P>SOLUTION: A communication device 2, for transmitting and receiving a message in a network to which a plurality of nodes are connected, comprises collision determination means 22 for determining collision of a synchronous message with another message when the synchronous message is received, and synchronization clock time estimation means 24 for estimating synchronization clock time, and is characterized by synchronizing based on the estimated synchronization clock time if it has been determined there was collision of the synchronous message with the other message. The synchronization clock time estimation means 24 estimates a transmission cycle by dividing the difference between synchronization clock time based on the synchronous message this time received when there was no collision and synchronization clock time based on the synchronous message in the past received when there was no collision by the number of reception times of synchronous messages between the synchronous messages this time and the past, and estimates clock time when the estimated transmission cycle is added to the synchronization clock time on the basis of the synchronous message this time as synchronization clock time of next time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
