<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire testing device and a tire testing method capable of efficiently performing evaluation (generation amount evaluation, recovery evaluation) of a flat spot of a tire with high precision. <P>SOLUTION: A first tire spindle 14 is moved to a travel position by moving means 1404, and a tire T attached to the first tire spindle 14 is made to preliminarily travel by pressing the tire against a rotary-driven drum 12 while applying a load thereon to measure a uniformity component of the tire. The first tire spindle 14 is positioned at a flat spot generation position, and the tire T having a risen surface temperature is pressed against a first pseudo road surface 18 to generate a flat spot S1 on the tire T. The first tire spindle 14 is positioned at the travel position, the tire is again pressed against the rotary-driven drum 12 while applying a load thereon, the tire having the generated flat spot is made to recovery-travel, and the uniformity component of the tire is measured to evaluate the recovery of the flat spot of the tire. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
