<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric heater capable of reducing heat capacity of an insulator and equalizing temperature distribution by reducing an exposed area of the insulator to a heating space in order to improve response of temperature rise and drop, and to provide a method of manufacturing the electric heater, and a heating device.SOLUTION: An electric heater comprises: a plate-like heating element 10 in which a current path is formed by forming a slit; and insulators 20 supporting the heating element 10. The heating element 10 is supported by the insulators 20 at a pair of width direction end parts 13 and 13 located in a width direction X along the slit, of the heating element 10. Each insulator 20 located at each of the width direction end parts 13 and 13 is divided into at least two parts to a horizontal direction in the width direction X. The width direction end parts 13 are respectively locked between divided elements 21 and 22 obtained by dividing the insulator 20 into two, and fastening tools 30 fastening the divided elements 21 and 22 at parts above the width direction end parts 13 are provided respectively.</p> |
