Glenoid implant including a cup intended for engaging with a prosthetic humeral head

The implant has a cup (1) that is intended to cooperate with a prosthetic humeral head, where the cup is provided in a circular form and presents fixing and positioning arrangements that allows the cup to be embedded in a glenoid anatomical cavity. The cup is arranged with deformable stabilization strips (1b) that cooperates with spongiosum. A lower part (1c) of the cup is smooth and is coupled with a metal base plate (2) of circular form. A peripheral side of the smooth lower part and the base plate are arranged in alignment with same diameter.
