This invention relates to therapeutic combinations comprising a platinum-based anti-neoplastic agent, such as cisplatin, and an extract from a species of the genus Nerium, such as Nerium oleander, as well as methods of using such combinations to treat subjects, including humans, suffering from certain cancers, such as prostate cancer, melanoma, pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, or colorectal cancer.
