A server for transmitting a push message related to installation of an application may comprise: an application selecting unit selecting an application corresponding to a scene of broadcasting content; a transmitting unit transmitting an identifier corresponding to the broadcasting content and the application to a first device; a receiving unit receiving a response corresponding to the identifier when the scene and the identifier are displayed on the first device; a push message generating unit generating the push message related to the installation of the application; a push message transmitting unit transmitting the push message to a second device whereas the application is installed in the second device based on the push message; and an additional information generating unit generating additional information displayed on an execution screen of the application installed based on the broadcasting content.
