<p>The present invention relates to a battery management system and more specifically relates to a method for downloading a firmware of an electrical bike battery management system firmware that can be used to download a firmware of a battery management system without damaging the equipment. The method for downloading a firmware of a battery management system comprises the following steps: a step (S20) where a controller(12) of a battery management system (BMS) powers off automatically when the deep sleep signal indicating power off is inputted to the battery management system (BMS); and a step (S50) where a charger is connected to help the powered off battery management system (BMS) to wake up, and the controller(12) is interrupted and the system enters the bootloader mode, a program download mode, to download the program, so that the controller(12) can download the program, if the input to the ignition switch is normal (S30, S40).</p> |
